I know we've talked about busking on the plaza. How about first fridays? Last time I was out there I noticed there are tons of buskers. I'm not sure of the rules but I'm sure as long as we're not on private property it's fine. Also, my friend Lindsey has a loft across from Birdies, I'm sure she'd let us shake it out front. So who'd like to join me this Friday? I have a thing later that night but it's late later. Also I say we head out early to claim our spot. Musicians...?

The files are certainly too large for email - but I can provide a place you can upload to as well.

Thu, August 3, 2006 - 12:28 PMI'm up for wherever. The corner across from the bbq place would be really good. There's a parking lot there I think. We should probably opt for somewhere with room to move a little. There's also a grass spot with a tree and everything over by Opie where I saw an awful band once. It would be perfect, but I imagine we have to get there early to snag it. Do we just want to meet up somewhere?
Lindsey's would be a last resort. There's quite a bit of traffic over there as well but it's sidewalk and gets so crowded. -

I talked with Lindsey last night and she said definitely we can perform in front of her place if we want, but I'd like to try my luck on a different corner first. I'm not sure what time the buskers take over, but I would guess we need to be there no later than 6. So who's in and the question above?

Fri, August 4, 2006 - 4:19 AMI don't know what time I'll be off work, so without a definite destination to aim for directly after work, I'm not certain I can do this. I don't want to try to find parking and fight with crowds if I'm not there early and coming home after work to check for location is likely gonna keep me from being early. I had another drummer wanting details to get there, too, and won't have time to relay those.
Ah, well, there'll be more opportunities to play. -
