Sorry I have been so busy. I have had a couple of restaurant gigs here, they are pretty fun when you have a whole band to back you up! It was so funny Anthony and I got to the place and their stereo wasn't working so we went home to get his drum. This was after spending an hour and a half to make a CD I could stand to dance to for an hour.
Anyway we got back and I did my first set to the CD played on a little boom box they found. There were only about 8 people in the place so it wasn't loud yet, but soon the boom box wouldn't be able to handle the crowd and Anthony would have to drum so I could hear what the heck I was doing. Just about at the end of my first set three guys walk in holding instruments and drums. The brother of the club owner had sent them over to play. Drummer Dave and his brother Paul and son Ryan pulled out drums and a violin and a stand-up bass and started to play turish gypsy music! Anthony drummed with Dave and picked up some new rythyms. The guys were from California and Dave's sister is on the belly dance superstars right now and their mom started MECDA.

Dave has played with Suhaila and all the other famous dancers in CA, and is part of the week long dance drum camp.

      Belle that totally rocks!!!!!
Luck you - a live band that can play real songs/music. That must have been a blast.
Now if you can just get a video camera in there so you can send us some footage of yourself so we can enjoy the show too (please).

Glad it all worked out so well.
